Today's News and Quote of the Day

I am sooooo nervous for the history test!!!!
How'd everyone do on the Spanish test? Mrs. Snodgrass said it was a pretty bad test, overall. Uh-oh!

Quote of the Day:
"Make us the kind of people who do not feel out of place when we arrive in heaven."
--Mr. Pfefferle's prayer. I thought it was a nice-sounding sentence, with a thought-provoking meaning.

Praise and Prayer

First, the praise: Daddy got the computer fixed! He's pretty sure all will be OK now.
Now, the prayer: Pray that he would let me on there to update my website, and that it actually would be all OK.

Homework & Quote of the Day

What was assigned today?
Spanish: Test next Friday on the things on the vocabulary list that we went over in class, and Matthew 5:6. The chance to say the verse and not have to write it on the test comes Monday.
English: Handout on that sonnet due Monday.

What is due Monday?
Science: Questions for the next chapter.
English: Handout on the Shelley sonnet.

Please post Algebras 1/2 & I homework!

Quote of the day:
I will be giving the lecture, and you will be taking the notes. It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Sorry & Quote of the Day

The only computer I can update my website from is absolutely useless, so I'll post the homework here and pray I'll be able to update tomorrow. Terribly sorry!
English: Test on Wednesday on the first 2 verses of "Father, I Know..." and the vocab.

Algebra II: Lesson 27, a, b, 1-29 (odd)
Algebra I: Handout, unless you finished it in class.
Latin: Quiz on sentences from p. 27:5, 6, 8, & 9, and p. 30:1-10
Spanish: Handout due Wednesday. Test and Autobiography moved to Friday!

And the Bible is actually Psalm 15:3-4, NOT 3-5. Sorry. Oh, and we might have that map of those colonies and straits and all for history due tomorrow. Somehow that missed being put on my website, and I can't remember when it's due now. Terribly sorry!
Have a great night!

Quote of the Day:
How did we get to the sun? Well, we went at night.
